Patricia Popp Obituary
Patricia Ann Popp, age 75, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away early Thursday morning, June 12, 2014 at Strawberry Lane Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Wisconsin Rapids.
Services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, June 19, 2014 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Father James Altman will officiate. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 A.M. until the time of services on Thursday at the church.
Pat was born October 31, 1938 in Marshfield, WI to William and Helen (Krohn) Popp.
She was employed as a telephone operator for Wood County Telephone Company in Wisconsin Rapids until her retirement.
Pat was a devout Catholic woman and an active member of Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church where she sang in the choir and was active in the Council of Catholic Women. She enjoyed life and loved to travel to any place that had a beach and also loved shopping. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her pet dogs. Family was the center of Pat's life and she always enjoyed getting together with them on a regular basis.
Pat is survived by two brothers, William Popp and James (Kathleen) Popp, both of Wisconsin Rapids; two nephews: Randolph Popp of Wisconsin Rapids and Wesley Popp of Seymour, WI; three nieces: Neta (Scott) Mogenson of Crossville, TN, and Annette (Todd) Jagodzinski and Karen May, all of Wisconsin Rapids; and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be designated to the South Wood County Humane Society or Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Herman-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Center is assisting the family.

I was so sorry to hear about Pat's passing. Worked with her at the phone company for 18 years and ran into her at Walgreen's not too long ago. She will be missed.
