Charles H. McMullen

New Berlin Charles Henry McMullen, 70, of New Berlin, NY, passed away peacefully on July 9, 2025. Born on March 5, 1955, in Cobleskill, NY, he was the beloved only child of Kenneth and Henrietta McMullen. Charles married the love of his life, Charlotte Chambers, on December 8, 2000, in South Plymouth, NY. Together, they built a life full of laughter, love, and cherished memories. He worked as a Maintenance Supervisor at Hartwick College, where he was known for his dedication, hard work, and willingness to lend a helping hand. Charles was also a proud member of the Klipnockie Beagle Club in Morris, NY, and served as a beagle hound field trial judge-roles that combined his passion for the outdoors and love of dogs. He found joy in life's simple pleasures: hunting, fishing, football, riding motorcycles, family cookouts, solving word searches, and playing chess. More than anything, he loved spending time with family and friends. His kindness, humor, and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Charles is survived by his loving wife, Charlotte McMullen; his sons Ryan (Danielle) Weeks and Gary (Juliea) Chambers; eight grandchildren-Deven, Patrick, Lillee, Layla, Logan, Piper, Jacob, and Finnegan; and one great-granddaughter, Amara. He was a man of generosity, laughter, and strength, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved.
