Doug was always there for us `kid´s´ growing up. Whether it be coaching or refereeing, it seemed like Doug was at every game. Calling fouls, offsides, traveling, whatever the call, but always fair and always with encouragement! Canastota is a better place for having a resident like Doug, I know he will be missed by my generation, but I believe we are all better people for having known him. My sincerest condolences to his family!

My thoughts and prayers go out to Doug´s family. I was blessed to have met this loving family. Thinking of all of you during this difficult time.
