Grazia Nasti, 93, of Marcy, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at the Abraham House in Rome.
She was born on May 9, 1932 in Bari, Italy a daughter of the late Vincenzo and Anna (Palazzo) Ferrara.
On August 5, 1967 in Bari Italy she was united in marriage to Mario Nasti. Together with her husband they relocated to Utica. They had a blessed union of over 42 years filled with much love and mutual devotion. Mr. Nasti passed away on January 28, 2009.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel Blessed Sacrament Church in Utica. Mrs. Nasti is remembered by her family as a loving wife, sister and aunt who cherished the time that she spent with her family. Especially her adored nieces and nephews. In her free time she enjoyed spending time at her family's Pizzeria "Bari Pizzeria" in Whitesboro. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and shopping.
She is survived by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Antonio and Santina Nasti, her beloved nieces and nephews, Celestina Valenti and her children, Adriana and Anthony Valenti, Grace (Jason) Mahoney and her children, Alexia and Lucas Mahoney. Also Celeste (Frank) Adipietro and family, Maria Leone and family, Michael (Danielle) Nasti and family, and Diana (Michael) Ramirez.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Letizia (Giuseppe) Columbo, Vitina (Onofrio) Lopez, and Orazio Ferrara.
The family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of the Abraham House in Rome for the wonderful care and compassion given to Garzia during her stay there.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated on Thursday November 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM at Mt. Carmel Blessed Sacrament Parish in Utica with the Rev. James Cesta officiating. There are no public calling hours, the family will greet visitors at the conclusion of the Funeral Mass. Entombment will be in St. Josephs Cemetery Mausoleum in Yorkville. Arrangements are with the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Inc. 40 Main St. Whitesboro.
