ILION – With heavy hearts and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of James T. Williams, Jr., affectionately known as “Jimmy,” who entered eternal rest on October 29th, 2025, at the age of 33, surrounded by the unwavering love of his family at Albany Medical Center.
Born on December 5th, 1991, in Little Falls, New York, Jimmy embraced life with an infectious enthusiasm that touched everyone around him. He proudly graduated from Ilion High School, a steppingstone that led to his successful career as a service manager at Pep Boys. His hands-on skills also shone brightly as a licensed electrician, showcasing his knack for both service and creativity. Jimmy was a passionate demolition derby fan, reveling in the adrenaline and excitement, and he was an integral part of the Team Predators—a testament to his adventurous spirit and love for thrilling experiences.
Jimmy leaves behind his wife Desiree, his parents, James Williams, Sr., and Connie (Warn) McConnell. His siblings, Christopher Warn and Ashley, Bernie Weaver and Sarah, Marissa Williams and Cheyanne Williams and Dennis. He also leaves his children, Jaden Williams, Anna Williams, Shaniha Williams, and Brehna Williams.
Though he faced sorrow in the loss of his sister, Jeny Laura, Jimmy carried the memories of his maternal grandparents, Robert and Sharon Warn, and paternal grandparents, James Williams and Patricia Brown, close to his heart.
His laughter and warmth will be deeply missed by special friends Courtney and Shea, who knew his gentle spirit and adventurous soul.
Family and friends are invited to honor Jimmy's life and legacy at The Enea & Ciaccia Family Funeral Home, located at 4309 Acme Road in Ilion, New York, on Monday, November 3rd, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A heartfelt Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 1:00 PM, providing a moment for all to come together in remembrance and love.
