Jeffery Alan Conover

Jeffery A. Conover, 56, of Rome, passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2026. He was born in Rome on October 16, 1969, a son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Drake) Conover. He was a graduate of Rome Free Academy. On July 12, 2014, he was united in marriage to Valerie Russell. Jeff and Valerie moved to Missouri in 2012 to finish raising their family. While there he worked for Backer's Potato Chip Company, excelled, and moved up the ranks to become a supervisor. His co-workers loved him. Surviving besides his wife, Valerie; two sisters, Cheryl Petrie (George) and Tina Conover (Dion); three brothers, Richard Conover, James Conover, and Robert Aikens (Katherine); seven stepchildren, including Jessica Woods (Kristopher) and Tricia White; and several nieces and nephews.
