June S. Sharp

June S. Sharp, 89, West Hinds Avenue, Sherrill, died Wednesday, May 21, 2025, in the Oneida Health Hospital. Born in Oneida, NY, on January 17, 1936, she was the daughter of Richard M. and Alice M. (Delaney) Seaton. Mrs. Sharp was educated in the Camden and Stockbridge Schools. She married Robert C. Sharp in St. John's Episcopal Church, Oneida, on December 13, 1959. Mr. Sharp died on January 6, 2000. June enjoyed knitting, crocheting, plastic canvas work, and reading. She loved her two great-grandbabies, Claire and Carter, and her pet parakeets, Thelma and Louise. Mrs. Sharp was a kind, loving woman who was well-liked by everyone who met her. She was a homemaker and raised her four children before working for fifteen years at Oneida Limited, after which she retired. Surviving are one daughter, Dawn M. Tardio, (David Hummel) of Oneida; two sons, Brien K. Sharp (Sara Brandt), of Canastota, and Richard Sharp; one sister, Evelyn Fitch of Albany; seven grandchildren, Nicole, Andrew, Alex (Shelby), Katelynn, Matthew, Melissa and Nathan (fiancé, Alexis Fowlston) whom was her pride and joy; five great grandchildren, Andrew, Harley, Owen, and Claire and Carter, whom held a special place in her heart. She was predeceased by a son, Robert E. Sharp on January 10, 2023; her identical twin sister, Jane P. Seaton on February 17, 1945, two brothers, Robert R. (Almeda) Seaton on November 10, 2003, and Francis C. Seaton on January 18, 1999; and sister, Ann M. Seaton. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
