When jobs in his profession no longer became available, he obtained employment with Securitas Security and St. Elizabeth's Hospital as a pharmacy transporter.
The cornerstone of Lenny's life was his deep faith. He was a devout parishioner St. John of Kronstadt Russian Orthodox Church in Utica, selflessly giving of time, talents, and heartfelt love. Among his many services, he acted as an altar server and bell ringer until just a few years ago.
From his first marriage to his former wife Galina, Lenny was blessed abundantly with three children. On February 22, 1987, he married the former Barbara Rivecca, who from that point on never left his side. Their hearts and minds were truly united as one.
Lenny's life revolved around his family, God, and the church. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He possessed a great sense of humor, loved both church music, classical music, and Andrea Bocelli. FM Channel 89.5 was a constant and Lenny was familiar with the request line.
