Marcia Dinkle Obituary

WATERTOWN/LOWVILLE- Marcia Taylor Dinkle, 85, of the Samaritan Keep Home of Watertown, formerly of Lowville, passed away on January 20, 2025 at Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown. There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held in the Spring at Riverside Cemetery Annex, Beaver Falls. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Repak of Watertown, NY; one sister, Joanne Austin of Croghan; and one brother, Elmer "Bud" Taylor Jr. of Syracuse; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Bruce; her parents; and one sister, Charlotte Austin. Marcia was born on August 18, 1939 at Lewis County Hospital in Lowville, NY, a daughter of the late Elmer Sr. and Mary Smith Taylor. She graduated from Beaver River Central School in 1957. On December 20, 1961 she married Harry Repak at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Lowville. The couple had one daughter, Mary Jo Repak. Later they divorced and she married Bruce Dinkle in Utica, NY. For many years the couple lived in Charlotte, NC where Bruce later passed away. Marcia was very active in the Methodist Church in Charlotte where she was leader of the Angel Tree each year, among other activities.
