Marianne Caleo

ROCHESTER – Marianne Caleo passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the age of 80.
Born in Utica on December 13, 1944, Marianne was the daughter of the late Mickey and Shirley A. (Russo) Caleo. She was a proud graduate of T.R. Proctor High School, Class of 1962.
Marianne was proud of her years of service at Xerox in Rochester, where she worked as a dedicated clerk. She approached her work with diligence and pride, forming lasting friendships with her colleagues throughout the years.
She was a woman who embraced life's opportunities for exploration and learning. Marianne loved to travel, and she especially cherished the adventures she shared with her beloved mother. Their travels took them to many remarkable destinations, including Egypt and Italy, most notably Sicily, as well as California and Seattle. Each journey created memories that Marianne treasured deeply throughout her life. Marianne's kind heart, thoughtful spirit, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on everyone who was fortunate enough to have known her.
Marianne is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Michael R. and Nadia Caleo; nephew, Dr. Michael Caleo and his wife, Jennifer; and her great-niece and great-nephews, Gia, Rocco, and Anthony. She also leaves her cousins, especially Joe and Camille Bianco, Steve and Becky LoPiccolo, Donna Caleo, Charles and Becky Cragnolin, and Donna Bove-Watkins.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Marianne's Memorial Service and Celebration of Life, which will commence on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. at the Eannace Funeral Home, Inc., 932 South St., corner of Hammond Ave. The family will receive visitors at the conclusion of the service.
