Matthew Cashion Obituary
The family wishes to thank his caretakers during the past two and a half years; especially Marissa Hence (Little Red Riding Hood) & Sharon Cosimino.. Matthew leaves behind sons John & Christopher Cashion, daughter in law Amy & grandchildren Matt & Emily, their mother Michelle Cashion as well as countless friends from the Elks Club & Utica Curling Club. He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Ceplius & father Horace Cashion. Three years ago he lost his long time partner Martha Hoffman, whom he shared over two decades with & had profoundly missed every day since her passing.
Matthew was a father, cat lover, business owner & humorist. His smile and charm will be missed by all who knew him & especially his partner in crime Jim Costello who's friendship he treasured.
Services will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers please consider donations to a local animal shelter or Abraham House.
