Robert Markwick Obituary

Robert Nicolas Markwick, 78, of Clinton, passed away on March 23, 2025, at Rome Hospital.
Rob was born on April 29, 1946, in Eastbourne, UK, the son of Bob and Minnie Markwick. He was the middle child, with an older sister, Mary (deceased) and younger sister, Lynn.
Rob married and had a daughter, Tracy, and a son, Dean. He divorced and later in life met and married Bernice Pinkstone of Clinton, NY. Rob worked for and retired from the British Railway before moving to America permanently in 1996. He also worked at the Turning Stone Casino for several years.
Rob was an animal lover and had a special place in his heart for his cat, Gizmo and dog, Max.
He became an ordained Reverend (Rev. Robert N. Markwick) with the Universal Life Church and enjoyed officiating at several weddings during his retirement.
Rob is survived by his children, Tracy and Dean Markwick; sister, Lynn Morley and long-time friend, companion, and advocate, Katrina Becker.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life to be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. at the Clark Mills American Legion.
Arrangements are under the direction of McGrath, Myslinski, Kowalczyk & Nunn Funeral Directors, 470 French Rd., Utica.
