ONEIDA . . .

William R. "Russ" Camp, 50, of Oneida, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, September 12, 2025.

He was born on July 24, 1975, in Oneida, the son of Ralph John Camp and Linda (West) Camp.

Russ was a great outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing, camping, and anything to do with the outdoors.

He was a great love and friend to many, and will be greatly missed.

Russ is survived by: his mother, Linda of S. Carolina; his step-mother, Marie of Massachusetts; his three children; two sisters, Mary and Heather; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Russ was also survived by his companion, Lisa Chesebro of Oneida.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at the convenience of his family. Arrangements are under the supervision of the J. Homer Ball Funeral Home, Inc., 201 James Street, Canastota.

Some peoples´ faces fade after not seeing them for a long period of time and some stay just as vivid as the last time you saw them. You´re forever in my mind smiling and laughing. Rest easy my friend. I´ll take care of her. Don´t worry.
