Dynasty Kassia Battle

Dynasty Kassia Battle, age 18, of Lafayette, Indiana, was tragically taken from her family far too soon on October 15, 2025. Born on November 11, 2006, she was a bright light whose creativity, love, and compassion touched everyone who knew her. Dynasty was truly an artist-she had the gift of turning anything she touched into something beautiful. Her talent for drawing came to life on every wall of her room, which she transformed into a world of colorful murals and imagination. She loved Jesus Christ with all her heart, and her family was right beside Him at the center of her life. She had a special bond with her many siblings, the younger ones looked up to her and will forever miss their big sister's warmth and guidance. Dynasty loved music and dancing, especially when her favorite song, "Dancing in the Stars," played. She was also a gifted tattoo artist-when she ran out of room to ink her own skin, she joyfully shared her art with friends and family, leaving behind pieces of herself that will never fade. Her creativity didn't stop there-she loved doing hair, makeup, and nails and had a natural talent for making others feel beautiful inside and out. Dynasty was one of the strongest people her family knew-never complaining, always smiling, and endlessly full of love and compassion. Her mom was her best friend and her hero. She had a heart for helping others-teaching her little cousin to do the splits at just three years old, always finding ways to lift those around her. Dynasty lit up every room she entered. She had a few favorite indulgences that always made her smile: sour apple candies with caramel inside, an ice-cold Vanilla Coca-Cola, and McDonald's french fries. Dynasty's light will continue to shine through all those who loved her. She is survived by her loving parents, Kelly (Jason) Kendrick of Lafayette and Ernest Battle of Gary In; siblings Keyana Moore (Devin), Tristan Kendrick, Jaelyn Battle, Christian Kendrick, Zane Kendrick Butler , Liam Kendrick, and Leah Kendrick. She also leaves behind many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, niece, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish her memory forever. Her family remembers her as "the artist"-a beautiful, bright spirit whose love and laughter will forever dance among the stars.
