Frederick Rowe Obituary
After graduating from Otterbein High School, Gene enlisted in the United States Army and served honorably for two years. On June 26, 1954, he was married to Margaret "Peggy" Richardson, and she preceded him in passing on June 20, 2002. Gene worked as a Locksmith at Purdue University for 25 years, and was a member of The Moose Lodge in Lafayette.
Gene is survived by his children, David E. Rowe and Penny J. Nugent; siblings, Carolyn Fassnacht and Byron Rowe; grandchildren, Dawn (Sarath) Achanta, David (Andrea) Rowe Jr., Blake Nugent, and Hannah (Isaiah) Jenkins; and great grandchildren, David Rowe, Anna Rowe, Annabelle Jenkins, Bryar Jenkins, Gatlin Jenkins, and Aashritha Achanta.
In addition to his parents and wife, Gene was preceded in death by his son, Tony Eugene Rowe; brother, Ron Anstett; and sister, Lois Dring.
Gene will be laid to rest at Concord Cemetery at a later date.

Our sincere condolences on Gene's passing. I have many fond memories of he and my dad at the farm house drag raising their cars. A great fellow with several shared conversations about our careers in higher education over the years. Rick and Charlene Plant. Blessings to all.
