Vicki Lynn Johnson

Vicki Lynn Johnson, 73, of Fowler, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at IU Health Arnett Hospital. She was born April 4, 1952, in Indianapolis, to the late Donald and Wilma Janice (Morphew) Phillips. She was a graduate of Greencastle High School and attended flight attendant school. On September 4, 1971, she married Ronald William Johnson at Weaver Chapel in Montmorenci. He preceded her in death on August 17, 2024. Vicki loved the Lord and was a devout Christian. She devoted her life to her husband, children, and grandchildren. She enjoyed writing, watching games shows, crocheting, and all types of puzzles. Vicki is survived by her 2 daughters, Kelly Vanderwal of Oxford and Karen (Cesar) Arenas of West Lafayette; 6 grandchildren, Makayla (Tyler Bell) Vanderwal, Zakary Vanderwal, Izabella Johnson, Diego Arenas, Antonio Arenas, and Melanie Arenas; 2 great-grandsons, Brayden Vanderwal and Gunner Bell; 6 siblings, John (Becky) Phillips, Penny (Jack) Gordon, Dave (Connie) Phillips, Eric Phillips, Rich (Kim) Phillips, and Tim (Leann) Phillips; and sister-in-law, Carrie Phillips. Along with her parents, Don Phillips and Jan Smith, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ron; son, Christian Johnson; and brother, Mark Phillips Visitation will be from 11:00 am until time of service at 12:00 pm, Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Soller-Baker, West Lafayette Chapel, 1184 Sagamore Parkway West, West Lafayette. Interment will be at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens, 1718 W. 350 North, West Lafayette, IN 47906.
