Camilla Pelkington, 67, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed peacefully on Thursday, April 29, 2021 at home.

She was a native of Wilmington, Ohio. She enjoyed family, traveling, and life to its fullest.

Surviving are her sisters, Dolores Oltmann and Emeline (Steve) Detrick; eight stepchildren, Debra, Robert (Kimberly), Chris (Molly), Timothy (Lysa), and Jeff Pelkington, Kim (John) Suzanne (Tom) Tippmann, and Tonya (Jeff) Linton; nearly 40 grandchildren; nearly 40 great-grandchildren; with a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at D.O. McComb and Sons Funeral Home — Pine Valley, 1320 E. Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46825, with calling at 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the funeral home.

Private Burial in will be at Highland Park Cemetery.

Preferred memorials are to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.

I went to school with Camilla and I haven’t seen her since then. Since I return to Ohio I had made several inquiries as to where she was. She was always a sweet kind and loving friend and I know she will be very missed by those who are close to her. My condolences to all of you.
