Send FlowersCharles Jacob Wayne Pell "Charlie", 46, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on December 11, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born August 10, 1979, in Wilmington, Ohio, to Terry and Pam Pell, Charles dedicated his life to serving others and his beloved community.
He attended Blanchester High School, Charles answered the call to serve as a firefighter for over 27 years, protecting the communities of Blanchester, Morrow, Union Township, and Sabina, Ohio. His commitment to excellence led him to earn his Level 2 Fire Certificate from the University of Cincinnati and Water Rescue Certificate.
Charles found joy in life's simple pleasures, the melodic strains of bluegrass music, Volkswagen buses, and caring for animals. His generous spirit and unwavering dedication shone brightest in his roles as devoted husband and father, always putting his family's needs above his own.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Nadia; children Charlie, Brock Ford, Molly Ford, Elijah, and Elliot; parents Terry and Pam Pell; siblings Angela (William) Gaul and Andy Clifford Pell; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifford and Mary Wanda Lee Pell, and Leo and Sarah Goodwin.
Charles's legacy of service, compassion, and selflessness will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched.
Friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St, Blanchester, Ohio.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on December 17, 2025, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home-Blanchester.
Interment will take place at Second Creek Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
