Daniel Hallard Pearce, age 65, a former beloved professor and high school teacher, finally ran out of quarters for the jukebox on April 5, 2025, at Bethesda North Hospital at 3:58 am after a long and determined battle with cirrhosis of the liver (which he may or may not have blamed on bad ice cubes).

Dan taught in the room next to mine back in the 1990´s at East Clinton High School.
I always admired his enthusiasm for teaching his students English literature. He was well respected by his students and colleagues alike.
May you rest in peace, Dan.
