Gerald "Jerry" Tedrick passed away November 22, 2018, at the age of 99.
He was born May 22, 1919, near Blanchester, the son of Odos H. and Susie Fordyce Tedrick.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carol Tedrick. Also surviving are step-children, Barbara (Bobby) Allen, Diana (Jerry) Sherrod, Nola (Chris) Cruse, Heath Heizer and Russ Heizer; as well as several nieces and nephews.
His first wife, Reba Jean Brown Tedrick, passed away in 1995. His second wife, Janice Inlow Heizer Tedrick, passed away in 2017. Also deceased are brother and sister-in-law, William "Bill" and Thelma Tedrick.
Jerry served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II. He was a 67-year member of the Blanchester Masonic Lodge #191 F&AM, and a 72-year member of Blanchester American Legion Post 179. He attended Grace United Methodist Church.
He had served on the Blanchester Board of Public Affairs, the Blanchester Village Zoning Appeals Board, and the Board of Trustees of Friendship Acres Retirement Home. He was a member of the Blanchester Senior Citizens.
He retired from the Curless Printing Company in 1985.
Visitation will be at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home in Blanchester from noon-2 p.m., concluding with Masonic Service, Thursday, November 29, with graveside services to follow at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Blanchester Senior Citizens, 707 N. Broadway, Blanchester, OH 45107, or Grace United Methodist Church, PO Box 66, Blanchester, OH 45107.

We'll miss you "Papa Jerry". You were so good to our Mom. And to us, after you got past being overwhelmed by "ALL" of us:) God be with you Richard & Carol. He was a very special guy! We're thinking of you and feel your emptiness.
