Kristina Jayne Lewis was born on Nov. 17, 1978, at the Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio. She was the daughter of Judith Ann (Wilder) Lewis and Normand Lynn Lewis. She was preceded in death by her mother, grandparents Melvin and Marion Wilder and Normand E. and Pauline Lewis.
She is survived by her only child, Ava May Lewis; her father and stepmother Normand Lynn and Kathy Lewis of Wilmington; a stepsister, Jodi Lyn (Tom) Vogel of Wilmington; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Kristina graduated from Blanchester High School and attended Ohio University.
She was an enthusiastic cheerleader throughout her high school and college career. For many years she lived in Fairborn, Ohio and worked at Bravo's, Dayton Mall as a hostess and server. For the last five years, she worked at Retiremed in Miamisburg as a benefit advisor helping many people with their Medicaid insurance needs. She loved helping people. Kristina and her daughter Ava loved traveling to Walt Disney World in Florida and were visitors on an annual basis, as well as attending many concerts. She was an animal lover, especially dogs, and will be missed by her border collies Remy and Marty.

Krissy was an amazing mother. One of the best I've ever known. Her daughter Ava was her world. I had the pleasure of being very involved in Krissys life as a primary sitter for Ava, from birth to about age 10.
