Ronald G. Mahaffey Sr., 89, of Clarksville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at UC Hospital surrounded by family.
He was born September 11, 1931 in Clinton County, Ohio, the youngest child of John E. Mahaffey and Zelma I. Mahaffey.
Ronald married Mary Beers on September 28, 1950. She proceeded him in death on May 8, 2020.
Survivors include their children, sons Ronald (Faye) Mahaffey, Jr. and Eric Mahaffey, and daughter, Joyce (Richard) Gragg; four grandchildren, Kate (Jeff Lockard) Mahaffey, Michael (Michelle) Mahaffey, Jessica (Mark) Morely, and Jeremy (Monica) Gragg; and seven great grandchildren, Dominic, Vinny, and Luca Giannuzzi, Kaylee, Matthew, Laura, and Daniel Morley.
He was preceded in death by all his siblings, brothers, Donald F. and John W. Mahaffey, and sisters, Dolly Tolle, Cara Belle Jones and Betty Hill.
Services will be held at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at noon with Pastor Paul Crisp officiating. Interment will follow in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, Ohio.
Friends will be received at Fisher-Edgington Funeral Home, Wilmington, Ohio on Thursday, July 22, 2021, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Contributions in Ronald's memory may be made to the Beechgrove Baptist Church.
