Sharon D. "Sherry" Pitzer, age 69, of Leesburg, Ohio, passed away peacefully on the evening of January 23, 2022, surrounded by family. She will be dearly missed.
She was born to Robert and Delma Louiso of Clarksville, Ohio, in 1952. In 1994, she married Jack Pitzer, of Leesburg, Ohio, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. They spent 28 wonderful, loving years together.
She is a Clinton-Massie High School graduate. She worked at ABX Air/DHL from 1988-2007, the Dayton Blood Bank as a phlebotomist from 2010-2011, and Dayton Children's Hospital as a phlebotomist from 2011-2013.
She enjoyed sports and supporting her local teams, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, family, kids, grandkids, and many friends. She was very caring and compassionate.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Pitzer; her mother, Delma "Pat" Louiso; her children, Adam (Shannon) Storer, Lucas (Natalie) Storer, Noah Storer, and Caleb Storer; her grandchildren, Austin (Crystal) Valentine, Cierra Valentine, Jacob Storer, Mariela Lopez, Hailey Moon-Storer, Gracen Storer, Isaac Storer; her great grandchild, Xavier Valentine; her siblings, Theresa (Charles) Sparks, and Matt (Linda) Louiso; and many nephews and nieces she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Louiso.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022 at the St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Wilmington. Reverend Michael J. Holloran will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the White Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at 1 p.m.
