Wanda Vance Obituary
Wanda Beatrice Vance, 92, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on June 3, 2022.
Born in Clermont County, Ohio, on February 12, 1930, she was the daughter of Robert and Frances (nee Sargent) Shumard.
She is survived by her children, Bethanie (Roger) Davis and Bonnie (Jack) Clayton; stepchildren, Roger Vance, Charles (Linda) Vance, Robert (Carolyn) Vance, Carolyn (Bryant) Riddle, and Cathy (Richard) Coleman; five grandchildren; 13 step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert (Barbara) Shumard and Kenneth (Joyce) Shumard; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond K. Vance; and daughter-in-law, Maggie Vance.
The funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be directed to Mid-Western Children's Home, PO Box 48, Pleasant Plain, OH 45162.
