Claire M. Plant-Erickson

Claire M. (Beauregard) Plant-Erickson, 88, passed away on Thursday December 17, 2020 in the Kent County Memorial Hospital, Warwick. She was the wife of the late George Erickson and the late Arnold E. Plant.
Born in Central Falls, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Hennessy) Beauregard. Claire resided in Cumberland for more than 25 years, previously residing and raising her family in Lincoln.
Claire was a Licensed Practical Nurse, retiring from Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, after more than 25 years of service. She was dedicated in providing exceptional care to her patients and made everlasting friendships with her co-workers. She enjoyed doing ceramics, loved spending time at the beach, going fishing and cheering on her favorite team-the Boston Red Sox. Claire was a fun-loving 'Grandma & Great-Grandma' and enjoyed being surrounded by family.
She is survived by her three sons; Jeffrey A. Plant and his wife Susan of Bluffton, SC., Gregory A. Plant and his wife Jayne of North Scituate, RI., and Corey A. Plant and his wife Jenny of Yucaipa, CA, two daughters, Cynthia M. Mongeau and her husband, Thomas of Coventry, RI., and Lisa A. Buesser of Chicago, IL., thirteen loving grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Jay A. Plant, mother-in-law of Elizabeth Plant of Lincoln, and sister of the late Norman Beauregard.
The family would like to acknowledge and truly thank the staff at Alpine Nursing Home in Coventry, for their love and care over the past 3 years.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines, the family will schedule Claire's Life Celebration at a future time to be announced. Arrangements are entrusted to the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road Cumberland.
