Corinne O'Hara Obituary
She graduated from Elms College in Holyoke in 1958, and later received a Master's degree from Providence College. She taught for many years at St. Leo the Great School in Pawtucket, RI and after moving to Falmouth also taught at the Riverview School in Sandwich until her retirement.
She was predeceased by her parents and brothers, Francis O'Hara of Falmouth, Leonard O'Hara of Plymouth, Ronald O'Hara, sisters, Martina Grady of Falmouth and Grace O'Hara of Falmouth. She leaves sister, Eileen O'Hara of Plymouth and brother, Andrew O'Hara of Bristol, NH.
Services and interment will be private.

To all of those who knew and loved Corrine,
I am so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. She was a very special person, friend, teacher, and coworker. I worked along side of her with students at Riverview School for eleven years as a GROW counselor. A teacher's goal in life, as I know being a Special Educator myself, is to make a positive difference, a mark on your students, that they will remember you by and carry with them for a lifetime. Well, Corrine, you for surely met your goal. Your students from many years ago still think of you and hold you in there hearts. It was one of your students who today informed me of your recent passing. You have surely left your mark for eternity on those you've left behind. Corrine had this very special way of making her students laugh and smile (as well as comply) whenever she had to set a limit with them, which likely would have otherwise left a student feeling frustrated and angry under different circumstances. As also being a psychotherapist for youth, I often think of how wonderful she not only met her students' academic needs, but emotional ones as well. She was very talented in working with those students, and I only hope I can have such positive relationships with the youth I work with. Also, thank you Corrine for being a wonderful person to work along side of. I truly enjoyed our conversations we often had. I will hold memories of you in my heart fondly always.

I am so sorry for the loss of my 3rd and 6th grade teacher at St Leo the Great in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. She will always be Sr Corinne to me. She was smart, funny, and I frequently made her tea in her Hotshot, :) She was a wonderful teacher, and neighbor to my Uncle George. My condolences to her family, Sr Elaine and she will be greatly missed. She was way ahead of her time. God Bless and Keep her.
