David Aubin Obituary

WOONSOCKET -- David W. Aubin, 76, of Woonsocket, died Monday, November 7, 2022 at home. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Parent) Aubin for over 49 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Irene (Beaudoin) Aubin.

David worked for twenty-five years in the corporate sector as a mechanical engineer. After he retired, he worked part time for over twenty years at Pros Liquors. He enjoyed going on cruises, fishing and spending time with his friends and family.

Besides his wife, Nancy, he is survived by their two sons, Michael Aubin, of Coventry, and Steven Aubin, and his partner, Robert Schweitzer, of Bethel, CT; and two grandsons, Timothy and Nicholas Aubin, of Coventry.

His funeral will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 starting with a visitation at 11AM followed by a service at Noon in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, West Wrentham Rd., Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Just now becoming aware of David's passing. My condolences to all his family. Dave and I go all the way back to our days in high school machine shop. At that time, all the students in that vocational class were known as "the pit boys". Rest in peace, Dave. Rene
