Donna Marie Bois

1959 - 2021

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Donna Marie Bois 62 of Greenville Rd. No. Smithfield passed away peacefully surrounded by her family and friends on April 7, 2021 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence RI.

She was born on January 24, 1959 in Woonsocket RI and grew up in Bellingham MA.

Her parents were the late Bernard Chamberland and Mary (Meo) Chamberland.

She is survived by her husband Roger A Bois Jr. and her two children Kelly and Kevin Bois and their spouses Kat Smith and Amy Bois. Her siblings Jeffery Chamberland, Albert Chamberland, Alan Chamberland and Maria Gerrior.
Grandchildren Amber-Lynn, Kyle, Alyssa, Kelsey, Karyssa, Lucas and Adriana and great grandchildren Madilyn and Jayden, Godchildren Tim and Kayla Chamberland and Jason Brunelle as well as many nieces and nephews who she had strong relationships with.

She worked as a bus driver in her earlier years in No. Smithfield, a waitress for many years. Donna knew she was here to do God's work and so she began a career and spent her life caring for others as a CNA at The Holiday Retirement Home in Manville, RI.

Donna loved the ocean it really was her favorite place to be. She was a very spiritual women and had a strong faith, she was such a strong woman who had fought breast cancer and many other illnesses.

She was a second mom to so many people and always had her heart open to help anyone in need. She will always walk beside us all as we ask for signs and strength from her up above,

Donna you were the best mom, wife, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. We will always love you and you shall always live on.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2021 from 5:00 PM 8:00 PM at the Keene-Brown Funeral Home in No. Smithfield, Funeral Service will be held Thursday April 15, 2021 at 10:00 AM. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. John's Church Slatersville, Burial will be immediately following the mass at the parish cemetery.
