Donna Tardif Obituary
NORTH SMITHFIELD -
Donna M. (Schwarz) Tardif, 92, of North Smithfield, died November 5, 2025 in St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Marcel G. Tardif, whom she married August 16, 1975. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Wilhelmina (Ludescher) Schwarz.
Donna worked as a teacher, and was later a social worker at St. Antoine Residence. She was a communicant of St. Agatha's Church and an active volunteer on numerous committees including the decorating committee. She was involved in many of St. Agatha's ministries, including Helping Hands and was a member of a Small Christian Community. If there was a need Donna was there to help.
She leaves four nephews, Frederick, Peter, Michael, and Thomas Schwarz. She was predeceased by her brothers, Frederick Schwarz, John Schwarz and Francis Schwarz, F.S.C.
Her funeral will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 9 AM from the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So., Main St., Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Calling hours are Wednesday, from 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agatha's Church, 34 Joffre Ave., Woonsocket, RI 02895.

Aunt Donna, you will missed by so many. Please give Uncle Marcel, Memere, Pepere, Aunt Gaetane and Uncle Reynald all a hug from us. I am sure the angels were welcoming you home with open arms. You were the kindest human on earth and I am blessed to have been able to call you Aunt. We love you and will miss you.
