Elizabeth Osiecki Obituary

Elizabeth C. (Muse) Osiecki

UXBRIDGE - Elizabeth C. (Muse) Osiecki, 94, of Uxbridge, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Advinia Care in Northbridge, MA, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years,

Frederick K. Osiecki, who passed in 2017, and her son, Brian G. Osiecki, who passed in 1997.

She is survived by her twin daughters, Elizabeth Bailey of Uxbridge, MA, and her partner David Kearney, and Mary Beth Baca of Douglas, MA, and her husband John Baca. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Frederick Bailey of Hopkinton, MA, and his wife Kari Bailey (Montville), Sarah Bailey of Uxbridge, MA, and Michael Baca of Douglas, MA, as well as three great-grandchildren, Keira, Elliana, and Annalise.

Born on April 2, 1930, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Betty was the daughter of John and Mary Elizabeth (McCabe) Muse. Raised in Millville, MA, by her mother and Aunt Helen, she attended local public schools before graduating from St. Mary's in Milford, MA. Betty worked for many years at the U.S. Rubber Company in Woonsocket, RI, before joining the Tupperware Company in North Smithfield, RI.

A woman of deep faith, Betty was a lifelong parishioner of St. Augustine's Parish in Millville, MA. She was always eager to lend a hand, actively participating in church events, especially Raffle Mania.

Betty was known for her warm and sociable nature, making everyone around her feel special and loved. Her quick wit kept conversations lively, always bringing laughter to those in her presence. She had a passion for travel, especially to the islands of Aruba and Hawaii, and her adventurous spirit never let her pass up a chance to try her luck at the local casinos. A lover of card games, she particularly enjoyed playing whist. As a dedicated New England sports fan, her Sundays were reserved for cheering on the Patriots and Red Sox.

For the past four years, Betty was a resident of Advinia Care in Northbridge, MA. Her family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their kindness, support, and exceptional care during her time there.

Her Funeral will be Thursday, (March 6th) at 9:00 AM from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 33 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, RI , with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM., at Divine Mercy Parish, 48 St. Paul St. Blackstone, MA.
