Florent Normandin

Florent Normandin, 89, passed away Monday December 11, 2020. He was the loving husband of Jacqueline (Paradis) Normandin. They were married for sixty-eight years.
Born in Canada, he was the son of the late Elie and Florena (Bouchard) Normandin.
He lived in North Providence for the past fifteen years, previously residing in Pawtucket.
Before retiring in 1997, he was employed as a Chemical Technician at Texas Instruments for thirty-nine years. Mr. Normandin was also a member of the Delaney Council Knights of Columbus in Pawtucket.
Besides his wife, he is survived by one son Dennis P. Normandin and his wife Donna of North Providence, two grandchildren, Jason P. Normandin Sr. and Jonathan Normandin, six great-grandchildren, one brother Alain Normandin of Warwick, one sister Muguette Buco of Lincoln and several nieces and nephews. He was the great-grandfather of the late Jason Normandin Jr.
Due to the current covid-19 restrictions, family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Friday December 18, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Cathedral of SS. Peter and Paul 30 Fenner Street, Providence.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis TN 38105 would be greatly appreciated.
