Georgette Hallal Obituary
COCOA BEACH, FL -
Georgette (Sackall) Hallal, 95, passed away on Thursday October 30, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late George Hallal.
Born in Damascus, Syria, she was a daughter of the late Malko and Nuzley (Dagdan) Sackall.
Georgette had resided in Rhode Island before moving to Cocoa Beach thirty years ago.
She was the loving mother of Mitchell Hallal and Dawn M. Fuller of Cocoa Beach, Florida and Dean G. Hallal and his wife, Kristen, of Sumter, South Carolina. She also leaves her brother, Anthony Sackall of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, her sister, Alice Kandalaft of Zhaleh, Lebanon, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Olga Mouro, George, Albert and Joseph Sackall.
VISITATION will be held at WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Services will be held at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 249 High St., Pawtucket on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Armistice Blvd., Pawtucket. Georgette was one of my dearest friends. We met at church, st Katherine G. O. Church in Melbourne, Florida. We knew from the minute we met we would be best friends.
At the time, we had no idea that we only lived a block away. When she was well, she would come to our pool and join us in our water aerobics.
Since she did not drive, when her husband passed I would pick her up and we would enjoy our time together going to church.
She was loved by so many people and will never be forgotten. My biggest regret is that she passed so quickly we never said our goodbye.
I know she is at peace now, never to suffer again.
I write this with a heavy heart because I miss her so much.
As the Greeks say, Zoe se mas.
