Helen S. Williams

BURRILLVILLE - Williams, Helen S. (LaTour), 69, passed away suddenly Friday May 6, 2016. She was the wife of the late James H. Williams, Sr. for 49 years before his passing in 2015. She was born in Providence, a daughter of Helen E. (Moran) LaTour of Mapleville and the late Robert LaTour.
Mrs. Williams lived in Pascoag for 36 years before moving to Mapleville in 2008. She was a teacher's aide for the Burrillville School System for over 30 years before retiring. She was involved with Special Olympics for 35 years, loved bingo, delivered for Meals on Wheels and was an avid NY Yankees fan.
She was the loving mother of James H. Williams, Jr. and his wife Christine, Kevin R. Williams and his wife Dawn all of Pascoag, Dina Lynn Williams of Cumberland and the late Christopher "CJ" Williams. She was the sister of the late Cynthia Tatum and the beloved grandmother of Madison and Seth Williams, Ashley and Eric Kuniholm, Brittany and Andrew Pysczynski.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 4-7pm in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt.44) Greenville, with a service to follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Madison and Seth Williams College Fund, c/o Blackstone River Federal Credit Union, 10 Monument Square, Woonsocket, RI 02895 will be appreciated.
