James Vincent Obituary

PAWTUCKET - James W. Vincent, 83, passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Lucille F. (Leedham) Vincent. A lifelong resident of Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Walter J. and Alice E. (Hughes) Vincent. Jim was a Korean War U. S. Navy veteran. He was a life member of the Teamsters Local No. 251, and had been a produce receiver at Almac's for twenty-eight years until retiring. Jim was an amateur photographer and enjoyed woodworking. He loved recording music in his basement, and was an avid golfer, who had three times attained a hole-in-one.
He leaves a son, Robert J. Vincent and his wife, Lisa-Jean; a grandson, Dominic J. Vincent all of West Greenwich; a sister, Bonnie Starzomski of New Brunswick, Canada and many nieces and nephews including David Starzomski. He was the father of the late Kerry J. Vincent.
His funeral with Military Honors will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m.
