Jeannette was a kind and generous woman with an undying love for her children and her family. She will be remembered for her strength, her spirit, and her wonderful sense of humor.
Graveside Service 2 pm Friday at B'nai Israel Cemetery, Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
Donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

It's so hard to begin. First and foremost my deepest sympathies to you Uncle Gary, Stephen and Melissa and to all your spouses, and grandchildren. Auntie Jeannette's heart was full of love and grace which she unselfishly shared with everyone. Love her smile and oh that sense of humor! She was a awesome sister to my MOM ! She was willing to change her religion for the man she loved; her GURSH as I remember she called him.. Shh! Don't tell my other aunts but you were my favorite. I will miss you !! You did help me in my fashion sense always looked forward to seeing what gorgeous outfit you would be wearing. You were one classy lady Now Mom ,Auntie Rosie and Betty have some company along with Nana,Chidu, and your brothers. May you reap all the joy that awaits you in heaven.

Although I haven't seen Jeannette in quite a few yrs. I knew the single Jeannette Doura in our younger yrs. more. Like before she and Gary got married always will remember her for so many things such as her great sense of humor. And quick wit. Always looking as cute as can be in her beautiful clothes. I'm so sorry Gary, you will always be a special friend, and I give my condolences to you and also both the Gurwitz and Doura families may she be forever at peace in the arms of God's beautiful Angels forever until we meet again...

Lovely Jeannette I will sadly miss hearing how you’d say my name with that beautiful smile every time I see you.
