Lee Hunt Obituary
Lee worked as a public transit driver for RIPTA for many years and will be remembered as a kind and gentle man, always willing to lend a hand to anyone. He was a longtime member of the Manville Rod & Gun Club, where he served as the range officer. Above all, Lee enjoyed spending time with his beloved family and dear friends.
Besides his loving wife, Lee leaves two sisters, Leslie Adalio and Lauren Harris; his mother-in-law, Joan Walas; three brothers-in-law, David, Stephen and Gregory Isabel; his uncle, Rev. Thomas McConaghy; many nieces and nephews and his devoted canine companion, "Daisy Mae". He was predeceased by his brother, Lance Shaw.
His funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from WILLIAM W. TRIPP Funeral Home, 1008 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Teresa Church, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket. Interment will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery. VISITATION will be Thursday 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts St. Teresa of the Child Jesus Parish, Heart to Love Campaign, 358 Newport Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02861 will be appreciated.

Will always remember Lee, a truly great friend , a great team mate and one of the most physically strong linemen of that era. I'll never forget Lee totally dominating the football line of scrimmage. Will never forget his amazing role in beating Wareham under the lights. There was only one Lee Hunt !.. we love you Lee.

Hi Kim, This is Renee Lanzillo Emami. Lee was my cousin. I was so sad to hear of his passing. We are so sorry we have not connected more in the past years. We were at your wedding. Lee was a very loving man. He followed in his dad's footsteps in that he was a very funny guy. My husband and I are so saddened that we will never get a chance to enjoy his company again. He is missed even in our memory. God Bless you. I know you have a difficult road ahead of you now. I hope you know how much joy you gave to Lee. God be with you. Renee.

Lee, we are all missing you so much right now! I was hoping to see you again someday, but I didn't get the chance. When I think of you I think of snowball fights and snow caves and knocking down each other's snowmen. Your quick wit and kind heart were always appreciated.
You were one of the good guys, so I know that wherever you are now - you are alright!
