Louise C. "Lou" Forestal

1937 - 2023

Louise C. "Lou" Forestal, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife for 60 years of the late Daniel R. Forestal Jr. She was the loving mother of Brian Forestal and his companion Kara Gilman of Ashland, Barbara Devine and her companion Tom Grossi of Norton, and Kelly Forestal and her companion Russell Vallee of Blackstone. She was predeceased by her son Douglas and her daughter Nancy. She leaves her cherished 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Henderson and his wife Sonya of Norton, Nathan Forestal and his wife Kortni of Bellingham, Daniel Forestal and his wife Allie of Woonsocket, Nadine Forestal and her companion Weezy of Bellingham, Timothy Sanson and his companion Becky of N. Attleboro, Thomas Forestal and his companion Sam of Blackstone, James Forestal and his companion Haley of Bellingham, and her late grandson Christopher Forestal, and 3 great-grandchildren, Nathan Jr., Logan and Kendall.
Born in Woonsocket on November 6, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Clara (Archambault) Anger, and the sister of Gerald Anger and his wife Debra of Walled Lake, MI and her nephew Jeffrey Anger of NJ and niece Molly Anger of MI.
Her only granddaughter Nadine was born on her birthday November 6, and Lou passed on the anniversary of her youngest daughter Nancy passing on January 22.
Lou was a resident of Bellingham since 1966 formerly of Woonsocket. She was a graduate of Woonsocket High School Class of 1956. She was the first female Bowling Teacher in the area and was President of Assumption PTA. She worked for Penthouse Sales in Franklin for over 25 years until retiring in 1999.
For many years Lou organized lunch once a month for 22 of her classmates. She enjoyed activities with her many friends at Wrentham Manor and close relationships with her neighbors. She was a member of the Bellingham Senior Center. Lou enjoyed embroidering, playing games, reading and traveling. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her beloved husband and family. Lou will be greatly missed by all.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 26th at 11AM at Cartier's Funeral Home, 151 So. Main St., (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Interment will be at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting time from 9:30AM – 11AM prior to service at the funeral home.
