Doris and Billy, I am so sorry for your loss of your mom. I remember visiting you on holidays when we were kids and your mom and dad were always so welcoming to us. They were such good friends to my mom and dad and to this day my mom always talks of Auntie Mae and Uncle Bill and the good times that they had. My heart goes out to you both and I hope your memories of your mom will comfort you through the years. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Billy, Doris and the Bessette family.. Our deepest condolences with the passing of Mae.. She was the monarch of our street.. and it will never be the same without her. She knew everyone and could tell you everything that was happening. Over the years Mae became more than a neighbor..she became part of my family. Growing up you knew she was an extra set of eyes to watch out for the neighborhood kids while we were outside playing and that was extended to my children as well when they were growing up. When I had the pleasure of helping Mae.. she would tell me stories about growing up in the south and I could sit and listen to them for hours. The stories she cherished the most were the ones about her family. She is now sitting in God's house telling her beloved Bill and Kerri all the stories they have missed out on.. because let's face it she had a direct flight and golden key into Heaven!
Love,

Dear Bill and family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I had the fortune of being Maes roommate when we were both in the unfortunate circumstance of being in a nursing home a few years ago. Mae made that few months so much more bearable with her quiet sensibilities, loving life stories and good humor. Thank you for sharing her with me. (And Bill - thanks for the Newport Creamery runs when the food was less than edible.)

To Doris and Bill and family, Our deepest sympathies to all. Aunt Mae, was the sweetest aunt, anyone could wish they had for an aunt. Beautiful woman, she will be sadly missed by all. She will be with Uncle Bill now, were I am sure she wanted to be, now that her children have lives of their own. She will be in our prayers, may she rest in peace.

Dear Doris and Bill,
I have thought of your family often and look back on the wonderful times that my family shared with your family and many of our parents friends growing up in Pawtucket. We also spent so many fun times together in Bristol and during the holidays.
I believe that your Mom was the last of that special group to pass away. I send my heartfelt condolences to you and hope that the memories of times spent with her will be with you forever.
With sympathy ,

Dear Bill and Doris
Carol and I wish to extend our deepest sympathy during this time of grief. Mae was one heck of a lady. She was always meticulous about her yard and we would watch in awe as she would literally sit on the grass pulling out the weeds by hand. Then she'd scold the weeds for attacking her lawn.
She was always gracious and easy to talk to. We will miss her.
