Markeith Collins Obituary
Markeith was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. He graduated from Woonsocket High School in 2009 and worked at OnProcess Technology right after graduation.
Markeith worked at Aldi Supermarket until March 2018 where he was loved by many and known for his infectious smile. He was employed at Stop & Shop until his passing.
Markeith is survived by his Mother and Stepfather Carla and Christopher Gray of Woonsocket RI, His Father and stepmother, Dwayne and Felicia Collins of Deptford, New Jersey. 2 sisters, Chalise and Inaya of Deptford, New Jersey. 2 brothers Darius of Deptford, New Jersey and Isaiah of Woonsocket, RI. Maternal Grandparents, Carl and Gwen Durden of Woonsocket, Maternal Grandfather Clarence Collins of Brooklyn New York. 3 Uncles, Nicholas and Keith Durden of Woonsocket, RI and Clarence Collins Jr of Philadelphia PA. 1 Aunt, Karen Collins of Philadelphia PA and 1 nephew Mekhi of Deptford, New Jersey, 1 Godmother; Linda Farrrow and 1 Godfather; William Jackson, as well as a host of Great Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling Hours are on Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 4 - 7 PM in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Road, Woonsocket, RI 02895. His Funeral Service will be held on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 11 AM, in St. James Baptist Church, 340 South Main Street, Woonsocket RT. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery, Smithfield Rd, North Smithfield RI, relatives and friends are invited. sdipardomcfh.com

Not many days pass when I don´t think of Markeith. Last few years the memories have bad sad but the more I remember him the more a smile comes...his smile, his laugh, his jokes and kindness. My prayers go out to Carla, as always!

Oh markeith my heart is broken for you hunnie I'm sorry to his family. Your smile always brightened up a room as soon as you walked in! I still remember going to Hess and seeing your friendly face. Also when I would go shopping at Aldi's! You were always so pleasant! May God guide you through the whole process and help you family heal thanks for blessing this world with your beauty!

My Condolences go out to the Collins Family, May Mark meith rest in peace with the Angels all around him I never had the pleasure of meeting him personally,but a few yrs back I was walking down front street an he was coming down so from a Distance he looked like my son Robert ,whom also lost his life in 2008, but like I said from a distance he looked like my Rob n the closer I got to Mar Keith the more my Heart was racing ,n racing ,we finally met up n by the look on my face he said Ma'am are you ok I said yes I am I just had a moment ,you look just like my son n tear dropped from my eye ,n he said are you sure ur ok I said yes I am now , cuz u walk like my son, you wear the cloth in ur pocket like my son, n wen I first saw u I really thought u was him all the way until I met up with u,n I said can I give u a hug n he said yes as a tear rolled down my face n he said I'm sorry abt ur son, I said thank you but u just looked like him so much I almost had a heart attack but I'm fine now he said u sure with a smile . I said yeah I'm ok n he continued to walk down the street, n I did the same still shaking from wat had just happen , he was so sweet like a Gentle Giant the only thing Mar Keith n my son had in common is that they went with the same girl

Markeith you were always a fun, gentle, loving soul. I can't believe sometimes we go back to 4th grade so many memories you are loved and will be missed by so many. Just know you filled our lives with so much much joy and a warm heart for friendship.
