Matthew Tibbo Obituary

BLACKSTONE - Matthew J. Tibbo, 37, of Blackstone, formerly of Milford passed away on Saturday, May 23, in the UMASS Medical Center, Lake Avenue, Worcester.

Matthew was employed in the building supplies department at the Home Depot Store in Bellingham. He had previously worked at Wal-Mart in Bellingham and several survey companies in the area.

Matthew was born July 26, 1977, in Framingham, the son of Donald R. and Nancy A. (Gibney) Tibbo of Blackstone, and had been a resident of Milford before moving to Blackstone 30 years ago. He was a graduate of Blackstone-Millville Regional High School, and had attended Bridgewater University.

He was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots, and enjoyed fishing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jeffrey A., and his wife Elizabeth Tibbo, and his niece, Emelia K. Tibbo, all of Uxbridge.

Funeral services and visiting hours will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the BUMA-SARGEANT FUNERAL HOME, Milford.
