Paul Niemczyk Obituary
He leaves his father-in-law Earl B. Eddleston of West Palm Beach, FL. He was the loving father of Joseph E. Niemczyk and his wife, Melissa of Blackstone, MA, Tracey Ducharme and her husband, Keith of Millville, MA, Annette Niemczyk and her partner Donna of Woonsocket, RI. He leaves his cherished grandchildren Jared and Hailey Ducharme, Jenna and Kayla Niemczyk.
A resident of Blackstone for most of his life, Paul was a graduate of Blackstone High School Class of 1964. He was an autoworker for GM in Framingham for 30 years and served as a Union Representative until the plant closed, then worked for 5 years for GM in NY until retiring in 2000. He was a member of the UAW Local Union. After retiring, he worked part time driving buses for Tellstone Bus Company in Blackstone.
Paul was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran receiving the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Bronze Star, 2 Overseas Bars, Sharpshooter (M-14 Rifle) Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal W/60 DVC and Marksman (M-16 Rifle). He was a disabled veteran from the war. He was a member of the VFW Post 7272 of Bellingham and the DAV of Medway.
He was a member of the Cercle Laurier in Woonsocket, the Largo Elks Lodge #2159 Largo, FL, and the Uxbridge Rod & Gun Club. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and racecar enthusiast. Devoted to his family, Paul will be sadly missed by all.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, July 16th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Paul's Church, 48 St. Paul Street, Blackstone, MA. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, July 15th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. To sign guest book visit www.cartiersfuneralhome.com

Kathy and Family, I was so sad to hear about Paul's tragic demise. Last year when I was lucky enough to spend a few hours with you guys in Largo, will be a memory I will treasure for my lifetime. I want to express my deepest condolences to all of you.

A life taken too soon...my heartfelt sympathy to all.
I used to enjoy his company especially at Christmas time out in the back porch...where he usually would get me to have some courvoisier...it was fun for both of us...he would want us to remember the good times...
God bless him for serving our country!

The family of Frank Hunnewell, Sr. from Maine are so shocked in learning of Paul's accident. He always made a point to stop and visit dad when he came to camp. Paul was also a father figure to our nephew, Matthew in hunting. Paul, the Hunnewell family will truly miss you. You are now telling stories with John and dad. From, Frank Jr., Jim, Barbara, Frank III, and Donald.
