Richard Jacks Obituary
He was born on June 22, 1950, a graduate of Bellingham High School and Roger Williams College. He was a supervisor at the Tupperware Company for many years and currently employed at Rock West/MWV Slatersville, RI. He enjoyed water skiing and scuba diving, but his passion was flying. He was a natural born pilot and soloed at the age of 16. He enjoyed spending time at N. Central Airport with fellow pilots or preparing his plane for flight. He was a member of the Rhode Island Pilot Association and The Quiet Birdmen.
Visitation Sunday October 4, 2015 from 1-4pm, in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Ave. (Rt. 44) Greenville, with a service to follow at 4pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations to The Providence Rescue Mission, 627 Cranston St., Providence, RI 02907 will be appreciated.

To the family and friends of Ricky and Shirley. I am very sad to hear of your passing. Ricky , Shirley and I worked at Tupperware for many years. Break time was the best. Ricky was always so witty and Shirley jumped in. What a great couple you made. Hold your head high Shirley...you are a wonderful lady. Love and lots of prayers going your way. Until we all meet again, R.I.P. Ricky.

This kind boy sat in front of me in Algebra class. I was struggling and sighing as I tried over and over to figure out an impossible 'simplication!!' Rick put up his paper, off to one side, so I could see how he had done it. One of the things in life you just do not forget.... Unexpected and sweet kindnesses being one of them.
Wish to extend my sincere condolences for a soul lost too soon. He must be a new-found joy in God's glorious heaven. May God take Rick's loved ones under His wing and give them comfort.

The Jacks family were our neighbors for years and years. They were all a part of my childhood and I have many memories of birthday parties, Lake Archer summers and playing badminton in their yard. Nothing remains the same but our memories can never be taken away. Please know the Giard family is thinking of you at this painful time.
