Roger Robert Obituary
Born in Central Falls, he was the son of the late Roger and Jeanne (Frechette) Robert Sr. He resided in Cumberland for 44 years, previously residing in North Attleboro, MA
He was a United States Navy Veteran.
Mr. Robert was employed as Maintenance Foreman for the Texas Instruments Company for over 25 years until his retirement.
Roger was an avid boater, fisherman, motorcyclist, and was a well known prankster who loved to make people laugh. He was also a skilled machinist who could bring to life any idea.
Besides his beloved wife, he leaves his son, Jim Robert and his wife Cynthia of Cumberland, his two daughters, Kim M. Robert of Cumberland and Julie A. Robert and her husband Richard Belisle of Pawtucket; his siblings, Lucille Chartier, Paul Robert, Al Robert, Roland Robert, and Suzanne Robert; four grandchildren, Deanna Benner and her husband Dwight, Jeff Robert, Tyler Belisle and Meghan Belisle; one great-grandson, Alex Robert.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday at 10 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in the Historic St. Joseph Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting Hours will be held Friday from 5-8 PM.
