Ronald R. Dalti

NORTH SMITHFIELD - Ronald R. Dalti, 82, of North Smithfield, died August 30, 2021 in his home. He was the partner of R. Ward Edwards for 46 years. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of the late Guisippe and Amelia (Lenzi) Daltilio.

Ron was a partner in Park Square Pharmacy and Medical Center for 45 years, until its closure in 1995. He was the owner of Uniforms Unlimited for 25 years. Ron was a devoted caregiver, sacrificing his life for many years to care for both his mother, and sister, Toni, until their deaths. Desmond Tutu said, "You do not choose your family, they are God's gift to you, as you are to them." We will remember Ronnie with love - our brother, brother in law, uncle, companion, dear friend, and wonderful caregiver.

Besides his partner, Ward, he leaves his brother, Frank Dalti of North Smithfield, his sister, Angelina Dagesse of Woonsocket, and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late James and Joseph Dalti, and the late Antoinette Hetu, Mary Sutcliffe, and Grace Cullerton.

His funeral will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021, beginning with visitation at 10 AM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in Holy Trinity Church, 1409 Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
