Terrence McKenna Obituary
Terry leaves behind his high school sweetheart and wife of 53 years, Judy Creason McKenna, his sons Terrence Barry McKenna II, Eric Christopher McKenna & daughter Kelly Eileen Leclaire. His legacy continues with 7 grandkids and 5 great grandkids. Son of Dr. Joseph B. McKenna and Eileen Deasy McKenna. He was predeceased by his parents and his two brothers, Dennis and Dennis M. McKenna. He is survived by his brothers Kevin, Brian, Neil, and Brendan, and one sister Kathleen Mullen.
Our Papa loved the people of Trinity. He felt like he was on vacation everyday! There are so many wonderful organizations Papa loved to volunteer, work, run, help as long as it made a difference in someone's life. He was a member of his beloved fraternity, Phi Delta Kappa which is "the oldest fraternity in America". So many wonderful acts of kindness and needed help for Pasco County. Terry happily volunteered! A few other soft spots for Terry was working with Good Samaratins of Pasco County, Pasco Kids First (gave the kids an awesome Christmas in July party), The RAP House homeless shelter for kids under 17 who just need a chance & some faith! Our Papa was a loving man, has given away his last $10 & would hug anyone who needed one!
Terry was born and raised in Woonsocket, RI. He raised his 3 kids in RI. Definitely a true Patriots fan! He had a blast & even attended a few Super Bowls!
Terry started a successful business, Terry's Tire & Auto Service, Inc. He ran Terry's successfully for 30+ years. His heart and soul was in Woonsocket. he was a member of the Zoning Board, Paul Harris Rotarian, he kept our soup kitchen, Because HE Lives open for many years, thanks to all of his fund raisers at his shop. As Papa once said "Be very thankful for the beautiful people of Woonsocket. They have given our family a wonderful life". He was one of the main team players in getting Woonsocket's money back from the major DEPCO crisis. He had a powerful & persuasive tongue. Yet, if there was a sincere need for Woonsocket, Terry would be at the head of the line offering to help!

Judy and Family! So sorry to hear about the passing of Terry! He was such a Funny! Loving! Generous! Gentleman! We had a lot of Laughs at Chan's with him and Dave Russell! And when he took me on with my Challenge at Almacs! Shows what a fine Irishman he was! He will be missed but he left such fine Memor ies for the World! RIP Terry !

Although I haven't seen Terry in many years I think of him often. Terry has that effect on a lot people.
I have always looked up to Terry. He was a passionate man who loved his family and had a huge heart to help others.
Terry was a true friend to my Dad and my family. He will be greatly missed by all of us that had the privilege to call Terry a friend.

My sincere condolences to the McKenna's. Terry and I were born on the same date. As a matter of fact my mom and Terry's mom shared a hospital room. So I claim to be Terry's first friend. He was a good man.

I offer my deepest sympathy to the McKenna Family. My Grandfather, Tommy Fox was always up to tell a good story or two about Terry as well as his brothers, going back to the days when Jack and Harry's was in business. Perhaps He has Terry, and Dennis working together in the Jack and Harry's in the great beyond now. Rest in Peace Terry, we will all miss you dearly.

I am so sorry for your loss of Terry. Our family, the Fitzgeralds, has known Terry since he was a kid, riding the bus with us to Mercymount. Terry was always full of life and was a huge presence even back then. In later years, when we were visiting our parents from out of state, if we had a car problem there was Terry, making everything right! I don't know how many cars we bought from him but I do fondly remember the hugs we'd get when we stopped in atTerry's Tires. We would always think of Terry as the "unofficial" mayor of Woonsocket. I can still hear his voice! It's not surprising that Terry was so active and kind to those in his Florida community. He was a Prince of a man!

We were sorry to hear about Terry's passing. Terry was a real blessing to us in so many ways and we developed a real friendship through the years. Just stopping by Terry's auto was always a pleasant experience and were sure that he would meet our needs. So sorry for the passing of Terry. Although it has been many years since I last saw him, I always look back fondly on the baseball days and when he lived on Lemire Court where we had many a beverage and laugh. He did so much for Woonsocket with his support of charities. God bless!
