Wesley Steere Obituary

Wesley I. Steere, Jr.

CHEPACHET - Wesley I. Steere, Jr., 73, passed away suddenly at home February 10, 2025. He was born in Providence, a son of the late Wesley I. and Beverly T. (Howard) Steere.

He worked in the maintenance department at Bryant College for 25 years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War and has lived his whole life in Glocester. Wesley was a member of the Elks Lodge, VFW, and the American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, working in his yard, and he loved dining at the local establishments.

He is survived by his daughter, Sandi M. Eannarino and her husband Steve of Jupiter, FL. He was the brother of James M. Steere, Howard A. Steere (Janice), Robert C. Steere, Gladys B. Darby-Plasse, Debbie N. Carney (Sean) and the late Samuel A. Steere. He is also survived by his grandsons Christopher and Ryan Eannarino and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 9-11am in the TUCKER-QUINN Funeral Chapel of Patrick Quinn Funerals and Cremations, 643 Putnam Pike, Greenville, with a funeral service to follow at 11am.
