Allen "Al" Brown of Rockford departed this earthly life March 19, 2025. He was born March 4, 1948 in Hickory Valley, TN the son of Frank and Julia Brown. Allen lived in Rockford since the 1970's coming from Humbolt, TN. He was a member of Jehovah's Witness, worshiping at the West congregation. Allen attended Stigall High School in Humbolt, TN. Allen leaves to cherish many loving memories, two sisters, Joann (Tommy) Wainwright and Constance Brown; five brothers, Evin (Wilma) Brown, Elvin (Marlean) Brown, Richard Brown, Willie Brown and Anthony Brown; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents and brother, Frank Haywood. Memorial Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Doors will be open from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
