Cheryl Milliron Obituary

Cheryl Ann Milliron, 71, passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at Allure of Pinecrest Nursing Home in Mt. Morris, Illinois. Cheryl was born onOctober 18, 1954 to Richard and Margaret (Rottman) Ball in Beaufort, South Carolina. On May 18, 1991, she married Kenneth Eugene Milliron in Laughlin, Nevada. She worked for several years in the Kishwaukee College Employment Resource Center. Prior to moving back to Illinois she worked at the county courthouse in San Diego County, Calif. and volunteered with the police department.

Cheryl enjoyed helping others when she could. She loved collecting Beanie Babies, baking and cooking for her family. Game nights were one of her favorites and she liked to travel. Cheryl had a best friend growing up, Randy Davis, who she introduced to her brother Michael, and Randy later became her sister-in-law. We are forever thankful for this introduction.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Ken Milliron of Rochelle, IL; daughter, Katherine Milliron of Rochelle, stepsons, Albert & Thomas Milliron, brothers Michael, (Randy) Ball, Timothy (Bettina) Ball, sister, Wendy (Ball) Engles, granddaughters Shelby, Charlotte & McKenzie, 5 step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Sgt. Maj. Richard Ball and
mother Margaret, (Peggy) Ball.

There will be a memorial mass at St. Catherine of Genoa Catholic Church, 340 S. Stott Street, Genoa, IL with Father Trowbridge officiating. Date and time to be announced.
