Judith K. Brom

Judith K. "Judy" Brom, 85, of Beloit, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 peacefully in her home of 13 years, Sun Valley North. She was born on April 7, 1940 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Paul and Genevieve (Gora) Brom Sr. Judy was a 1959 Beloit Memorial High School graduate. She was formerly employed by Adams Corn Curl for 7 years, Beloit College, and Pizza Hut. Judy was a volunteer at Carlyle Nursing Home. She enjoyed knitting; especially dish cloths. Judy was a very social person who loved people. She was friendly, caring, and nice to everyone and was always concerned about others. Judy's biggest joy of her life was her family. Survivors include her sisters, Maxine Burns, Margaret Durkee, and Susan (Gerald) Heyerdahl; nieces and nephews, Deb, Cindy, Julie, Brian, Lori, Michael, Vicky, Kim, Chris, Tom, Lisa, Sandy, Bo, Brad, Pat, Steve, Matt, Kristin, and Kyle; many dearly loved great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friend, Geri Licata. Judy was predeceased by her parents; infant sister, Sally Ann Brom; brothers, Robert (Yvonne) Brom and Paul (Carol) Brom Jr.; brothers-in-law, Robert Burns and Kenneth Durkee; and nephew, Steve Brom. The family would like to give a special thank you to the caring staff: Julie, Nikki, and Mandy at Sun Valley North for the loving care they gave to Judy. As well as the staff at Beloit Regional Hospice: Eleni, Tonya, and Crystal. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial for Judy will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 6, 2025 in Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, 2222 Shopiere Rd., Beloit, WI, with Fr. Jim Murphy officiating. Entombment will be in Mt. Thabor Mausoleum. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. in the church. Memorials in her name may be made to Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church or Beloit Regional Hospice.
