Nora Frias Obituary

Rochelle Nora Pearl Turner Frias, 81, passed away Monday, April 21, 2025 at Liberty Village in Rochelle, Illinois. Nora was born on June 15, 1943, the daughter of Earl and Margie (Lynch) Childs in Mellwood, Arkansas. She married James Turner and together they had three children before he passed away. On March 28, 1984, she married John Frias and they had two daughters together. Nora is survived by four children: Vicki (Delbert) Dickey of Kirbyville, MO, Eddie Turner of Springfield, MO, Juanita Frias of Rochelle and Candy Frias of Rockford, IL; sister, Doris (Gale) Dickson of Little Rock, AR, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and both husbands, she is preceded in death by one son: James Turner and seven siblings: Earl Childs, Dwayne Childs, Carl Childs, Ronnie Childs, Thelma Copeland, Vicki Childs and Becky Mullens.
